Bucket List 2.0
By Aimee on
So when I first started this blog one of my first posts was about my bucket list. I thought I would revisit this and see what I’ve done in the last two years. The list was as follows and the things I’ve completed are crossed out. Some things aren’t relevant anymore either and won’t make the new list.
- Visit every single Disneyland
See Japan- Sky Dive
- Get matching tattoos with my mum
Adopt a pet- See the northern lights
- Experience New Year’s Eve in a different country
- Create a Reading Nook
- Make a difference
- Laugh
Start a Family
Starting a family is the thing I wanted most and something I didn’t expect as soon but couldn’t be happier. I was also really excited when I was able to visit Japan. It is a wonderful country and want to go see it again. We also kind of adopted Gerald the cat but then moved and couldn’t keep him.
My new top 10 are:
1. Visit every single Disneyland
I have made progress on this since my last bucket list and made it to Disneyland and Disneysea in Japan. But then they opened up a Disneyland in Shanghai. So alas I’m no closer but it means I still get to visit more Disneylands.
2. Get Matching Tattoos with my Mum
I still want to do this. I also want to get other tattoos, like Camels on my arm that represent Poppy and Me.
3. See the Northern Lights
Would be amazing to see the northern lights, I’m thinking the Netherlands.
4. Experience New Year’s Eve in a different country.
I had been thinking about where I would like to experience New Years, and I’m thinking New York. It might be a little cliche but that’s where I would like to go.
5. Marry Sam
Which I get to do later this year. Yay!
6. Buy an apartment
Somewhere near where we are already living would be ideal.
7. Give Poppy a sibling
In a few years anyway…
8. Ride the Camels at Cable Beach in Broome
My Mum did this last year and I was super jealous. I love Camels and thought this was awesome! This picture is my mums. It’s just an awesome sight. I’m not sure what it is about Camels but I’ve come to realise they are my favourite animal.
9. Finish writing a Novel
I have started writing a few novels, but never finish them. I want to finish what I start.
10. Become a better cake decorator
This one is random but recent. I’ve had a desire to make the perfect first birthday cake for Poppy and I have had practice with Sam’s birthday just the other day as pictured below
So there you have it. My new top 10. Let me know what’s on your list!
