Wall Puzzle

I’ve been meaning to write this one up for ages. I’ve had the project finished and hanging in Poppy’s bedroom since before she was born. I had honestly forgotten I had the photos until I went through and cleaned up my phone recently. This is something that is really easy, fun and versatile. I have a Disney puzzle as I am a huge Disney fan. But any puzzle can be saved and displayed this way.

First things first. Materials:

Now I am sure there are easier ways to do this but this is the way I did it.

I created my puzzle. It took me two days and I loved every second of it. There’s a joy in putting together a puzzle.

Then from there I individually painted glue onto the back of the pieces and recreated the puzzle onto the MDF board.

That’s it. Just two steps. But it does take some time and patience. I worked from top to bottom, left to right. Just make sure to keep it tight and in line as sometimes the puzzle can shift a bit and you’re forcing pieces in.

Once it was all dry I hung it on the wall using command strips. I thought this was the easiest option and it is still on the wall now. Hanging above her change table.
